According to their landlord, who heard the sound of gunshots and immediately called the police, the two individuals had been residing together in the same apartment. The tragic incident resulted in the couple’s death right at the scene. The authorities have yet to reveal the names of the deceased as they work on locating their relatives.
The reason for the argument between the couple that led to the gunfire was not immediately evident. Additionally, it was not revealed whether law enforcement officials had previously been called to the residence to intervene in disputes between the pair.
According to authorities, the recent tragic incident where Azalea Rivas, 37, and her teenage daughter Azeris Wright were found dead inside an apartment on New York Ave. was determined to be a case of murder-suicide.
