Shocking Brooklyn Robbery: Residents Overwhelmed as Mob of 10-15 People Invades Home

A group of about 15 robbers wearing ski masks reportedly carried out a home invasion in Brooklyn on Sunday night. The residents were overwhelmed by the sudden attack.

Around 8:45 p.m., a private residence on 47th Street in Sunset Park was the target of a mob robbery, believed to have involved 10 to 15 males, according to investigators.

A group of thieves broke into a residence near Eighth Avenue, making off with cash and cell phones. Fortunately, the residents were not harmed during the incident, as reported by the authorities.

The group’s intentions behind targeting the home remain unclear, as it is uncertain whether they specifically chose it or randomly selected it. Although mobs of thieves often focus on businesses, it is unusual to hear about them hastily raiding a residential property.

The NYPD is currently investigating the case and no arrests have been made thus far.

Police have not yet released any images or provided additional descriptions of the suspects.
