Police in Galloway Twp., NJ, are looking for a ‘armed and dangerous’ suspect
The Galloway Township Police Department is seeking assistance in locating a suspect who is armed and considered dangerous due to their involvement in a stabbing incident.
Charles D. Cook III, a 42-year-old resident of Galloway, has been charged with robbery, aggravated assault, and weapon-related offenses.
On Tuesday, December 12th, officers received a call regarding a patient who had sustained multiple stab wounds at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center-Mainland Division.
A 48-year-old man from Galloway Township was the victim of an incident where he was meeting an acquaintance at a local motel. He shared with the police that an unknown man approached him from a nearby wooded area.
The suspect approached the victim, brandished a knife, and demanded money. A physical altercation ensued, which resulted in the victim suffering stab wounds to his face and arm.
Investigators have identified Cook as a suspect in the case.
