A hooded gunman outside a Chelsea high-rise shoots a man
According to police reports, a shooting incident occurred on Sunday evening outside a high-rise building in Chelsea, leaving a man injured. As the police continue their investigation to locate the shooter, the victim is currently receiving medical attention.
Around 9 p.m., a shooting incident took place at 167 West 25th St. resulting in a victim being shot in the leg.
It is still unclear what exactly happened before the shooting took place. However, according to the police report, a person wearing a green hoodie approached and started firing shots before quickly fleeing the scene.
The individual in question was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue for treatment and is anticipated to make a full recovery.
As authorities continued their search for the suspect, no arrests have been made yet.
