Authorities are looking for an escaped Alabama prisoner
Wednesday, the Alabama Department of Corrections reported an escaped prisoner in southern Alabama.
Christopher Ivy Bates, 34, reportedly left his work release assignment in Gulf Shores around 10:41 a.m. and changed into unidentified clothing.
Bates is 5 feet, 4 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes, according to his description.
Among his tattoos are RTNK Michelle, RIP Mark, SELF, LTNK Dianna, RIP Mike, Made, CTNK Hard 2 Kill, LUBI Jatlyn, CTST MOB Town, RMBI Praying hands, RFFA Block Bleeds, Loved By Few, LIFA Chaser $, LTFA, Darrin Jr., and $.
Bates is serving a 20-year sentence for a robbery in Mobile at the Loxley CBF/CWC.
