Campus police arrest man accused of watching UH student shower in dorm
According to reports, a man has been charged for reportedly watching a female University of Houston student while she was taking a shower in a dorm. On Friday, campus police at UH apprehended Devonte Deshon Todd, aged 21.
According to records, Todd has been charged with voyeurism and is currently under arrest. Additionally, he is facing another charge in a separate case in Fort Bend County.
It is unclear whether Todd is presently enrolled at the University of Hawaii or if he is a former student, as the police did not provide any details on this matter.
According to reports, Todd has recently posted his bond of $5,000 for the voyeurism charge that he was facing. As per the conditions of his bond, he is prohibited from going within a 1,000-foot radius of schools, universities, colleges or any other places where children or students usually gather. His court hearing is scheduled for Friday, and he is expected to appear before the judge.
According to the court documents, the location of the incident was not mentioned. However, Moody Towers is the sole dormitory at UH that employs shared community bathrooms per floor. To ensure privacy, each floor is segregated by gender.
