Car collision in Batavia leaves 17-year-old with severe injuries
A Batavia teenager was severely injured after being hit by a car at 17.
On the early morning of Tuesday, September 12, 2023, Ethan Walker, a 17-year-old from Scotland, was hit by a car while crossing Clinton Street Road in the town of Batavia. The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office reported that the incident left him with serious injuries. Video footage captured by Alecia Kaus from Video News Service showed the accident’s aftermath.
The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office is looking into an incident early on Tuesday morning where a pedestrian was hit by a car in Batavia.
Around 1:30 a.m., law enforcement officers were called to Clinton Street Road in Batavia to respond to an incident. They discovered Ethan Walker, a 17-year-old from Scotland, lying unresponsive in the lane for westbound traffic.
The accident occurred on Clinton Street Road, where Ethan Walker, a 17-year-old, sustained severe injuries after being hit by a car. The picture shows the exact location of the crash, as reported by the deputies.
According to the deputies, the individual sustained severe physical injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital via airlift.
According to the investigators’ findings, Walker was hit by a vehicle while crossing the road after getting out of the car in which he was a passenger.
At present, the investigation is still underway.
