In Friendswood, Texas, a young child of only 11 years old was struck by a vehicle on Tuesday morning.
According to a statement from the Friendswood Police Department, a collision occurred at the intersection of Falcon Ridge Boulevard and Peregrine Drive at approximately 8:22 a.m. The victim, who was riding a bicycle at the time of the incident, sustained injuries that are reportedly not life-threatening.
After the incident, law enforcement officials arrived at the location. The medical personnel evaluated the child’s condition before transferring them to a nearby hospital for further treatment. At this time, the authorities have not disclosed the identities of either the child or the driver involved in the accident.
