Man Arrested for Drug-Related DWAI and Possession
A 62-year-old man was taken into custody by State Police on September 16, 2023, for charges of purportedly driving while under the influence of drugs and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
Ronald M. Eason, aged 62, was taken into custody after a report of a suspicious individual on Rockland Ave in Clarence. Upon investigation, Troopers found Eason inside his vehicle. During questioning, Eason displayed signs of impairment, leading the Troopers to believe he had been driving under the influence.
After searching, Troopers discovered narcotics, which resulted in immediate arrest. He was then taken to Millard Fillmore Hospital and underwent a blood test. Following this procedure, Eason was released with appearance tickets and is expected to appear in the Clarence town court on a future date.
