Houston police: two people were shot in a drive-by shooting outside a house party in Sunnyside
HOUSTON (Ucreview) — According to authorities, a drive-by shooting outside a house party shortly after midnight Sunday injured at least two persons.
According to the Houston Police Department, the shooter fired from a car towards a gathering on Vera Lou Street in the Sunnyside neighbourhood. A man and woman were shot and transferred to a nearby hospital, where they were expected to survive, according to HPD.
According to police, the driver took off and eventually got into a chase with policemen, which resulted in a crash. Two males were apprehended inside the automobile.
Investigators stated that they were gathering surveillance video in the location of the shooting.
