Man had a dire medical crisis in a Midtown ambulance crash
In Midtown, police are investigating a collision involving an ambulance and another vehicle.
Sunday at approximately 4:30 p.m., a Dodge reportedly collided with an ambulance at the intersection of 10th Avenue and 42nd Street.
According to authorities, the individual in the rear of the ambulance was experiencing a medical emergency. Another ambulance transported the patient to Mount Sinai West, where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the Dodge and two EMTS sustained minor injuries.According to authorities, the ambulance’s lights and sirens were activated at the moment of the accident.
