Middle school teacher in NYC gets injured while intervening in student fight
According to the NYPD, the event occurred at around 2:45 p.m. at the Knowledge and Power Preparatory Academy, which is a middle school located in Brownsville.
Upon observing the quarreling adolescents, the instructor intervened and unfortunately endured a knife wound.
After the incident, the teacher sustained minor injuries and was immediately attended to by EMS personnel. They received prompt medical attention at the school premises.
The authorities were able to apprehend a 16-year-old boy who had been wielding a knife. They managed to recover the weapon and take the young man into custody.
Upon being contacted by The Post, the Department of Education did not provide an immediate response.
