Man, 21, repeatedly shot, killed in Brooklyn

A man was fatally shot in Brooklyn on Monday evening, which prompted an investigation by the NYPD. According to authorities, the incident is being investigated to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

At approximately 7:30 p.m., law enforcement officials received a 911 call reporting a shooting incident at 991 Carroll St. in the Crown Heights area.

Upon arrival, the officers noticed a young man, who was only 21 years old, with several gunshot wounds on his body.

The man was immediately transported to NYC Health + Hospital/Kings County by EMS, but unfortunately, he was declared dead upon arrival.

No arrests have been made by the police, and the investigation is still ongoing.

The authorities are currently withholding the identity of the deceased person to inform the family first.
