Overdose discovery in Long Beach involving 5 individuals
According to authorities, five individuals were hospitalized early Sunday morning in Long Beach due to a drug overdose.
According to a statement released by the Long Beach Police Department, their officers were dispatched to a residence in the 800 block of Grand Avenue at around 2:50 a.m. on Sunday. Their visit was to support paramedics from the Long Beach Fire Department attending to several patients experiencing complete cardiac arrest.
After identifying the individuals as four men and one woman, first responders administered Narcan to revive them.
The details regarding their conditions and the specific substance or substances they consumed have not been disclosed to the public.
