Ucreview – According to authorities, a tragic incident occurred in Northeast Washington DC involving a collision between two carjacked vehicles resulting in the death of a young girl. The police have arrested another girl in connection with the incident.

In northeast D.C. on Thursday, October 26, 2023, officers responded to a fatal carjacking crash that involved two juvenile girls. The scene is currently being investigated by law enforcement.
Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) officials reported a fatal crash in Northeast, D.C. involving two carjacked cars and two juvenile girls. As per the reports, one person has lost their life, and another is in custody as of Thursday morning.
At approximately 1:47 a.m., a vehicle collision occurred in the 1200 block of Brentwood. As per the police report, one of the vehicles involved in the accident was flipped over and caught fire.
Police stated that upon their arrival at the scene, the Fire and EMS teams were able to put out the vehicle fire. However, they discovered the unfortunate news that a juvenile girl had passed away.
According to officials, there was a collision between the two carjacked vehicles.

According to Prince George’s County police, one of the vehicles was reported stolen from Capitol Heights on Wednesday evening. Sources have informed 7News that the theft was an armed carjacking where an individual stole the car from a Lyft driver who had a passenger in the vehicle at the time.
According to MPD officials, the District experienced the theft of another car.
Police officers have taken a juvenile girl into custody in connection with the incident. It is yet unclear whether or not she will be charged as an adult, or if there will be any charges filed against her.
Investigators are still determining the cause of the crash.
