Reward offered by NYPD for arrest of fugitive wanted for double murder
Upon arrival at the scene of the fire, the New York City Police Department was confronted with the remains of two individuals who had been brutally murdered within the wreckage.
At approximately 4:19 a.m. on May 16, 2022, police in the Bronx were notified of a burning vehicle on Shore Road near Pelham Split Rock Course.
When they arrived, they discovered a sedan parked by the side of the road. Already present firefighters extinguished the blazes, but were disheartened upon discovering two unidentified bodies within the vehicle. EMS personnel at the scene pronounced both victims to be beyond life.
The NYPD announced a $10,000 total reward for information that leads to the apprehension of one of the fugitives wanted in connection with that incident today.
In the event that the responsible individuals are apprehended and indicted, CrimeStoppers will provide a maximum reward of $3,500; conversely, the NYPD will contribute an additional $6,500 upon conviction.
