Seligman gas station shooting: Two brothers targeted during road trip over the weekend
According to sources, two siblings sustained injuries in a shooting incident that occurred at a gas station in Seligman on Saturday afternoon.
According to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, a distress call was received around 4 p.m. reporting a shooting incident involving two or three individuals at a gas station located off I-40, exit 122.
Upon their arrival, Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers discovered Vincent Ogawa, the suspected shooter, situated inside his vehicle in the parking lot.
Ogawa was apprehended by troopers without any trouble.
Upon arrival, YCSO deputies, as well as fire and EMS personnel, discovered that two men had been wounded by gunshot. Fortunately, both men were transported by air to a medical facility in Flagstaff where they are reported to be in stable condition.
According to law enforcement officials, the two individuals who were affected are siblings. They were accompanied by a group of family members and acquaintances on a motorcycle excursion when they made a halt in Seligman.
According to reports, Ogawa was sitting outside of the store when the victims approached him. After a brief argument, Ogawa drew his gun and fired three shots at the men.
According to YCSO, the individuals who were shot on Saturday had no prior acquaintance with Ogawa. The video footage from the surveillance camera indicates that Ogawa was acting alone during the shooting incident.
The charges against Ogawa are currently unclear.
