Several People Killed in Houston Shooting After Alleged ‘Family Dispute’
Early Sunday morning, a tragic incident occurred in Houston, Texas, resulting in the death of at least two people due to a mass shooting at a residential property.
According to authorities, the incident on Cypressbrook Drive is believed to be a result of a “family dispute”, as stated in a tweet by the police.
During the incident, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez was present at the scene, where he confirmed that two individuals had tragically lost their lives. Additionally, two others had sustained gunshot wounds.
According to him, the cause of the incident may have been a separation or a divorce, although this has not been confirmed yet.
According to The Messenger, the Harris County Sheriff’s Department has reported that “multiple people” were shot and that they have detained one male suspect.
According to the Sheriff, the situation has been contained as of 11:44 a.m. local time, and there is no danger to the nearby community.
