The Bruckner Expressway accident that occurred on Sunday claimed the life of a woman, whose identity has now been revealed by the police.
According to officials, a hit-and-run incident occurred near Exit 51, where Jasmine Hunter, 32, was hit by an unidentified vehicle while standing beside her car. The vehicle did not stop after the accident.
According to reports, she landed below onto the service road of Bronx River Parkway.
The woman was transported to a medical facility, where medical professionals declared her deceased.
