56-year-old man charged for raping woman in southern Ohio healthcare facilities
According to the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office, a caregiver for a home healthcare company has been charged with raping a female patient.
Sheriff David Thoroughman stated that a supervisor from the unidentified healthcare organization contacted authorities on Friday to report that one of her clients had been sexually assaulted by a caregiver.
An investigation revealed that the victim received 24-hour care and could not care for herself.
The suspect, 56-year-old Ronald Pace, was located at a Rosemount residence and brought in for questioning.
Pace was charged with two counts of rape, a first-degree felony, according to Thoroughman. The bond for Pace’s release from the Scioto County jail is set at $200,000.
