Aurora Woman & Grandchild Killed in Pueblo West Crash; Denver Man Identified
The Pueblo County Coroner’s Office has recently identified the individuals who lost their lives in the tragic head-on collision on August 26 in Pueblo West. The victims include a 56-year-old grandmother from Aurora named Marie Quintana, her 12-year-old grandchild, and 48-year-old Jesus Guerrero Lopez from Denver. It’s a heartbreaking loss for their families and loved ones, and we extend our deepest sympathies to them during this difficult time.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the driver of the BMW sustained injuries that were not life-threatening. The authorities are considering alcohol and speed as possible factors contributing to the crash.
