A 42-year-old man is in trouble with the law after he crashed through a fence and into a house in Warwick, Rhode Island. He is now facing charges of driving under the influence.
Alexander Gutierrez was behind the wheel of a van, cruising down Elmwood Avenue at around 6:30 a.m. Suddenly, he veered off the road, colliding with a curb before plowing through a fence. As if that wasn’t enough, he then proceeded to slam into an unoccupied car before finally crashing into the chimney of a nearby house.
Gutierrez was taken to the hospital for treatment after sustaining non-life-threatening injuries.
The charges against him include driving under the influence (BAC unknown), reckless driving, and resisting lawful arrest.
Fortunately, there were no injuries among the occupants of the house.
The authorities are still investigating the incident.
