A Georgia Man gets Arrested After “Ding Dong Ditch” Prank Goes Wrong
Georgia (US) – A suspect from Georgia was arrested on Monday for allegedly choking a teenager who had played a prank on his house by “Ding Dong Ditching”. The suspect, William Raymond Cole, 49, has been charged with felony aggravated assault and first-degree felony cruelty to children. According to the Tybee Island Police Department, they received a call to investigate an aggravated assault on Sunday. It was discovered that a group of teenagers had knocked on Cole’s door as a prank, and he had chased them, apparently attempting to hit them with his car.
The suspect then allegedly got out of his car to pursue them on foot again, before choking one of the teens.
“After catching one of the teens, Cole is further alleged to have choked them until a witness intervened,” police added. “At that time, Cole fled the scene.”
The Tybee Island Police Department is currently investigating an incident involving Cole, where he is alleged to have choked one of the teenagers and subsequently fled the scene when a witness intervened.
