The Kern County Coroner’s Office has released the victim’s identity, who tragically lost his life in a recent accident. According to the official report, the victim has been identified as Efrain Ruezga, a 24-year-old from Lamont. The incident has left the community in mourning and serves as a reminder of the dangers that can arise on the roadways.
According to reports, Ruezga could not maintain control of the car, leading to a collision with a stationary forklift. Sadly, he was transported to Kern Medical, where he was declared deceased.
A fundraiser on GoFundMe was initiated to assist in covering the burial expenses for Ruezga.
As per the information shared on GoFundMe, Ruezga had been eagerly waiting for his graduation ceremony in December, which was his 25th birthday.
