One person killed in Colorado Springs car accident, thrown out of vehicle
On Saturday night, a fatal accident occurred in Colorado Springs, where one individual was thrown out of the car and lost their life.
At approximately 11 p.m., an incident occurred on North Academy Boulevard.
According to the authorities, the driver of an SUV was heading down Academy and attempted to make a left turn when they crashed into another car that was traveling towards the south.
Sadly, the individual riding in the SUV was thrown from the vehicle and lost their life at the location of the accident.
After the accident, the other individuals involved, including passengers and drivers, were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
According to authorities, the investigation is still ongoing, but it seems that neither speed nor impairment played a role in the incident.
