South Park Area Experiences House and Vehicle Fire Resulting in $22,000 Damage
In the wee hours of August 19, 2023, a house and a vehicle on Dieppe St. 77033, located in the South Park area, were engulfed in flames. Swift action was taken as the firefighters arrived at the site within six minutes. They worked tirelessly to douse the fire while ensuring it did not spread to other parts of the house.
Luckily, no one was hurt during the incident. Although the fire occurred, the firefighters were able to save property valued at around $133,000. Unfortunately, the damages caused by the fire are estimated to be around $22,000.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the HFD Arson investigators. The scene required the presence of 31 personnel from Stations 35, 46, and 26 in total.
