Fatal truck accident near Buffalo grain terminal claims man’s life
According to the Buffalo Police Department, a tragic incident occurred in Buffalo on Tuesday morning as a man was struck by a truck and lost his life.
According to an official statement, law enforcement officials, in conjunction with Buffalo Fire and the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, responded to a call about a man being hit by a truck in the 700 block of East Front Street.
According to reports, upon arrival at the scene, the victim, identified as Gerald Boldt from Davenport, was found to be trapped under the rear wheels of a tandem dump truck. Unfortunately, he did not survive the accident and passed away on-site.
At present, the Iowa State Patrol is conducting an investigation regarding the incident. However, no further details or information have been made public yet.
