Man arrested after burglarizing a Lakewood bank
A bank break-in on Tuesday morning in Lakewood, California, resulted in the arrest of a man caught in the act.
Around 12:30 a.m., law enforcement officers were summoned to Chase Bank, located in the 5000 block of Lakewood Blvd. Upon arrival, they discovered a man attempting to break into an ATM.
The man’s break-in at the bank was caught on surveillance camera. The footage showed him sneaking into the bank through the ATM and entering.
After numerous attempts to persuade him to surrender, the authorities were finally able to apprehend the man almost an hour later. Deputies played a crucial role in making this possible.
