Batavia man charged with gang assault after fight

Batavia, New York’s Devon C. Shine, age 19, was apprehended and formally accused of second-degree gang assault. On 5/30/2023, Shine and at least two others are accused of causing severe bodily harm to another individual during an altercation. Shine was released from Batavia City Court under the supervision of Genesee Justice after being arraigned. His court date of reappearance is 10/19/2023.
